Kevin lives and works in the monsoon tropics. He spent nine years in the United States, studying and travelling on research grants to Italy, North Yemen, Spain and Bangladesh, before moving back to Malaysia and culture shock in 1991, with degrees in Architecture and a minor in Art History. He joined GDP Architects upon his return to Kuala Lumpur where he stayed for the next ten years, running the research and special projects department.
smallprojects began as a realisation there were old dreams to reclaim, and its work has been published in architectural and design journals in the United States, Europe, Japan and Oceania. In sole practice since 2002, Kevin has written and lectured on architecture and taught at universities internationally. His current work involves the design of the built environment, teaching and writing when time permits.
