Tide Cinema

Tide and the cinema. Moon and the sea. They share something in common. As the tide gets high, water flows into the man-made structure, holding up the volume, stretch out the canopy, and the moon would appear right in the middle of the night sky.

I created an architectural system. However, the walkway and lighting are controlled by nature. A cinema varies with daily lunar phases and tide levels.

Capture the movement of nature, and make them into poetic scenes.

That is the intention of my graduation design
